Thank you for choosing The Lovely Ink Co to create your stationery. By placing an order for goods, you confirm your agreement to the terms and conditions of The Lovely Ink Co. as set out below:
An order for goods placed by you, the buyer, via email, telephone or any other means, shall be subject to these terms and conditions. The words ‘you’ and ‘your’ used throughout these terms and conditions, refers to the Buyer/client.The words ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ used throughout these terms and conditions refers to The Lovely Ink Co., the seller.
Any unauthorised reproduction of The Lovely Ink Co’s designs or products is strictly prohibited. We take any unauthorised copying or printing of our design work very seriously. Any designs created for you using our services will remain the property of The Lovely Ink Co.
Colours shown in the images displayed on this website and email proofs may vary slightly from the colours of the final printed product. Screens (RGB) display colour differently to printers (CMYK) so there will always be a discrepancy between what you see on your screen and what you print out at home or what you get back from the printer. Different paper stocks can also affect colours and different print runs can differ slightly too. If a specific match is required, please provide us with a PMS number. We aim to show all stationery products and colours as accurately as possible.
As a client of The Lovely Ink Co, you are responsible for gaining permission to use any photographs, hymns, poems, quotes, songs or other content that you would like to feature on any of your stationery items.
Prices for our services will be quoted on an individual basis depending on your requirements as the customer. If you are happy to proceed, a 30% deposit is required to be paid prior to the commencement of any work on your stationery. For specialty printing/finishes (foil or letterpress), a 50% deposit will be required.
Each quote allows for the supply of digital proofs, based on the information provided by you (theme, colours, size, shape etc.) and up to three rounds of minor revisions to your design (text, colour or font changes). Any further revisions or major revisions (style, imagery, layout etc.) will be charged and added to your final invoice. These charges will be discussed with you and adjusted accordingly.
Final payment is due prior to the printing of your order. No stationery will be dispatched for delivery until full payment is received and cleared through our bank account.
No refunds will be given for change of mind, or in the event of a cancelled event once payment has been made. Postage and handling are not refundable unless in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
All text that you would like to feature on your items of stationery must be supplied to us via Word or Email format. If you are personalising your stationery with guest names/addresses, we will provide you with an Excel document to complete the required information.
Proofs are sent to all clients and are a means of enabling you to check your chosen product design, wording and layout prior to the final prints. It is your responsibility to check that spelling, grammar, timings, names, venues and all other details are correct.
An artwork approval form will be sent to you for your final sign off and approval. The checking of proofs is the responsibility of the buyer and any error(s) found after the artwork approval form has been signed is your responsibility.
Invitations are supplied flat and not assembled. If you require assembly, please enquire at the time of ordering.
Stationery orders are sent via Sendle, Couriers Please or Australia Post Express Post, and you will be provided with a tracking number. Orders sent via courier include insurance. If you live in Adelaide, pick up may be arranged. Every care is taken to protect your order when preparing for posting, however The Lovely Ink Co can not be held responsible for loss or damage caused to the item during shipping.
The Lovely Ink Co reserves the right to use images of your stationery for marketing purposes. This includes use on social media, all advertising (print, online and elsewhere). Please be assured that all personal contact details (phone numbers, home addresses or email addresses) will not be disclosed for your privacy.
