HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY INVITATIONS?
The whole process takes approximately about 2-4 weeks, including printing – depending on your chosen print process as letterpress and foiling can take a bit longer. Of course I always strive to better this, and chances are you will receive your order earlier! Yay! This of course depends on the response times from both parties, as well as the number of proofs sent and changes required. Please, please bear this in mind when placing your order, as I would hate to disappoint you if you require your invitations within a few days!!
I am a one-woman, small business and can get booked up during peak periods. I recommend that you order your stationery at least 2-3 months prior to when you wish to mail-out your invitations to avoid disappointment and any delays due to busy times.
HOW ARE MY INVITATIONS DELIVERED?
Your invitations are wrapped up beautifully, placed in bubble wrap and sent via courier or express post. I will provide you with a tracking number so you can keep watch of them all the way to your house. If you live in Adelaide, pick up can also be arranged.
Every care is taken to protect your order when preparing for posting, however I can not be held responsible for loss or damage caused to the item during shipping.
HOW DOES YOUR PRICING WORK?
I do not have a set price list, as I customise each quote to your specific needs. Custom design fees start from $175. If you require me to re-draw a map for your details card, fees start from $75.
Due to my printers’ pricing tier – the larger quantity you require, the less per unit you will pay, so ordering 50 invitations may be cheaper than ordering 30!
WHY DO FOILED INVITATION COST SO MUCH?
I’m sure you will notice that foil printing costs substantially more than standard printing. Foil stamping is a labor-intensive printing process. Once your design is finalised, a custom metal ‘stamp’ with your specific details has to be created to apply the foiling. The stamps (or dies) are then heated and stamped with enough pressure to seal a thin layer of foil to the paper.
If you are happy to spend the extra money on foiling, keep in mind that it will take longer to print as well. This is not suitable for a last minute job that you need whipped up overnight, so plan well ahead! In saying all that, it is totally worth the effort when you see the finished product!
DO YOU INCLUDE ENVELOPES WITH YOUR INVITATIONS?
No, however I do have a range of envelopes available for purchase, all to match your chosen paper stock. If you would like your guest’s addresses added to your envelopes, please advise when asking for a quote. All envelopes will be delivered to you unsealed.
HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?
This is a common mistake that customers make when ordering their stationery. Trust me… you will ALWAYS need more invitations than you think! As a general rule, always order 10 more than your required quantity. Guest lists have a way of sneaking up at the last minute and the cost of ordering more as part of your initial order is far less than the cost of ordering a small number at a later date!
I NEED HELP WITH WORDING, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Google has a tonne of fantastic suggestions, but of course I am more than happy you to help write your invitation wording and match it to the style of wedding you wish to announce!
CAN YOU PERSONALISE MY INVITATIONS WITH MY GUESTS’ NAMES?
Yes, I can personalise any item of stationery granted that it is being printed digitally. This may incur an additional cost and I will supply you with a spreadsheet template to fill in the names of your guests exactly as you would like them to appear so I can merge them in to the artwork.
WILL YOU PROOFREAD MY WORDING FOR ME?
I will happily point out anything I think may be incorrect, but no one knows the details of your wedding or how to spell your fiancés name more intimately than you do, so it’s your responsibility to make sure everything is correct. I ask that you check, double check, then check again. Then get your fiancé/mum/friend/neighbour to check. I take no responsibility for errors found once you have approved your artwork.
CAN I GET A PRINTED SAMPLE OF MY DESIGN?
Unfortunately I do not offer this due to the cost involved to print a one-off. You will be sent a digital proof of your order via email. If you are in Adelaide, I’d be happy to meet with you to show you paper swatches and other examples of my work.
CAN YOU PRINT DOUBLE SIDED?
Yes I can! This is a cost effective (and eco-friendly) way to save a few pennies. Please specify this in your quote request.
CAN I PRINT MY INVITATIONS MYSELF?

I FOUND THIS INVITATION I REALLY LIKE, CAN YOU CREATE MINE EXACTLY THE SAME?
No, I do not copy other people’s designs, so please don’t ask me to! Examples of what you like are great to point me in the right direction, but I’ll use them purely for inspiration and design something original for you.
DO YOU DESIGN STATIONERY FOR OTHER EVENTS?
Yes! I love a good old party just as much as I love designing, so I will happily take any opportunity to combine the two by creating custom stationery for any celebration. From birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, engagements, bridal showers or fundraising high teas, I will create something that will help set the tone and make your event that little bit more special.
CAN I SUGGEST FONTS AND COLOURS?
I understand that your wedding or event scheme incorporates specific colours, and I will design your invitations to suit your theme perfectly. Please send through any photos or images you have that will allow me to easily get an idea for your event.
If you change your mind and want to change the font or colour scheme after you have seen a proof of your invitation, if these changes require a lot of work, there may be an additional cost incurred. If so I will email an estimate for you to approve before proceeding.
THE COLOURS I SEE ON SCREEN LOOK DIFFERENT WHEN THEY ARE PRINTED OUT?
Screens (RGB) display colour differently to printers (CMYK) so there will always be a discrepancy between what you see on your screen and what you print out at home or what you get back from the printer. Different paper stocks can also affect colours and different print runs can differ slightly too. It’s all very complicated but I will always try my best to colour match. If a specific match is required, please provide me with a PMS number.
UNFORTUNATELY I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER, DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?
Life can be unpredictable and I am so sorry you need to cancel your order. The refund of your payment will depend on what stage your order is at. If I have not begun to work on your invitations, then the whole amount will be refunded in full. If I have begun the design process, your deposit will be forfeited to reflect the time already spent. If the job is already at the printers or has been completed, cancellation is not an option and you will not receive a refund.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Due to the custom nature of stationery, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Any error(s) found after the artwork approval form has been signed is your responsibility. I am more than happy to arrange a reprint for you, with a discount applied.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Unfortunately at this stage, I only ship to Australian clients and addresses.
